​​​Make Music Muskogee is a music celebration day in Muskogee held annually on June 21, the first day of summer! Make Music Muskogee takes place throughout the town on the summer solstice. This local event is part of Make Music Day, held worldwide annually on the first day of summer. It started in France in 1982 and has spread to more than 750 cities in 120 countries. This day of live music performances is open to musicians of all ages, races, abilities, and genres. It is a day for unity in musical celebration and community outreach. The day's grand finale is a huge group performance of "Okie from Muskogee" and "Oklahoma." MMM will also be hosting other "Make Music" events throughout the year.

Make Music Muskogee's mission is to positively impact the City of Muskogee and beyond by combining charitable endeavors with the power of music and live performances. Make Music Muskogee is a public charity that connects Muskogee musicians and others of all ages, races, ability levels, and musical tastes with each other, their communities, and the world in order to vitalize the shared public and social spaces in Muskogee and other cities, bring new artists and artistry to life, and unite diverse people for peace, goodwill, and celebration.
